Do join us for the tomorrow's match at 14:30 GMT(20:00 local time).
Robin Uthappa (RCB) is the Man of the Match - Runs: 68 - Balls: 38 - 4's: 3 - 6's: 6 - S/R: 178.94
Kumble: It's great to win at home in front of a full house. Robin Uthappa batted exceptionally well and the bowling unit fired in unison. We were looking to set them 150 but in the end I am proud of the way we played. No matter how much we strategize outside the field, we have to execute them well on the field and glad the guys did the job. Steyn did really well upfront and he was well supported by PK, Kallis and Vinay Kumar. My bowling's coming along well, I've had a long break so the body is in good shape. I don't want to see the league standings just yet but it feels good to be on top.
Raina: Robin batted really well but our 2 dropped chances cost us big in the end. We haven't chased well in the last 2 games so we need to tinker around with the batting order. Dhoni will be travelling to Mumbai for the next game, let's see how he feels before the game. We are now looking forward to the next game.
Raina gets the classic catch award.
Uthappa gets the maximum sixers award.
Kumble was miserly as usual, as the Challengers picked up wickets at regular intervals, but the moment that turned the tide firmly in their favour was an inspirational piece of fielding by Dravid which accounted for the wicket of big burly Matthew Hayden. Raina and Badri fell cheaply and that turned out to be the final nail in their coffin as the Challengers regain their top spot, which they lost briefly to the Mumbai Indians due to an inferior net run rate.
Chennai Super kings have surrendered tamely to the Royal Challengers who look to be in rampaging form at the moment. Steyn came out all guns blazing, clocking in excess of 150 kmph consistently to push the Chennai batsmen into a defensive mode.
This is the best bowling by Vinay Kumar in an innings in IPL Matches
